Hard Data

Test data for the tank and water parameters.  Possibly helpful notes may also be included but then again they may be entirely useless and will probably be exceptionally sarcastic.

Evening Note:  Pipe Organ is still not opening after the move yesterday, may still be acclimating to the light so I will keep an eye on it.  Feeding tank with 10ml of Phytogold-M dispersed in water column and 10ml CoralVite.

January 13th, 2011:

Evening Note:  Cleaned inner overflow box, brushed off return into tank, cleaned glass, cleaned filter over the downflow to sump, cleaned out skimmer collection cup and outside container collecting skim.  Washed outside of glass.  Fed coral, appears that they all ate minus the Favia but several chunks of oyster egg did appear to adhere to it.

Gravity:  1.024
High Range pH:  8.2

January 8th, 2011:

Salinity: 31ppt
Gravity:  1.023
High Range pH:  8.2
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm
Calcium: 440ppm

Evening Note:  Flowerpot is still not opening, have added a second 750gph pump.  Not thinking it's very happy living in our tank at the moment.

January 6th, 2011:
@8pm After top off.
Salinity: 31ppt
Gravity:  1.023
High Range pH:  8.2
Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm
Calcium: 420ppm

Evening Note:  Dosed with three teaspons of Kent Coralvite, small top off administered to sump to raise water level.  Cleaned off far rock lightly, cleaned glass outside and inside removed saltwater creep from the top of the tank.  Flowerpot is opening slightly but appears to have expelled some waste.  Polyps barely extended.

@6pm Before top off.
Salinity: 31ppt
Gravity:  1.023
Calcium: 400ppm

Morning Note:  Our two new corals are being a bit finnicky and I am not sure if that's because they came home so close to lights off or if we have strange water movement going on and it's too high where they were placed.  If they aren't open by the time I get home from the office I am going to move them.

January 1st, 2011:

Salinity: 30ppt
Gravity:  1.022
High Range pH:  8.2
Ammonia: .25ppm
Ammonia after water change:  0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm

Note:  It would seem that the torch could benefit for a bit more water flow around him, but he appears to be starting to encrust the rock which is a good sign.

Diatom bloom, aghhhhh!
